La Bella Roma

Hello from Rome!  We are doing well.  We are keeping busy with the Center for Young Adults!  We keep the Center open Monday through Thursday from 3:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m. and Fridays 3:30 p.m.-Midnight.

There are so many interesting things here in Italy!  The keys here are HUGE!!!

We have keys for the Center, keys for the Mission Office, keys for our car, keys for our apartment!!!!

This is our little "piazza" in the front of our apartment.....It looks like it belongs in the Land of the Hobbits!

This is the entrance gate into our apartment!

The elevators are so tiny here!!!  Usually two people fit in at one time!  You should see us pack it full of all of our stuff!!!

We met up with some Roman soldiers on one of our P-days!!!!  They had swords!!!!

Off with her head!!!!

We were held captive!!!!  And Larry was threatened at sword point!!!!!!!  Give up your wife or die!!!!!!  Ha ha!!!

There is original architecture everywhere!

The Monument to the State is attached to an ancient structure, and if you look beyond the columns, you can see the ornate details of the ceiling.

The archeologists here are working to preserve the ruins that are so beautiful.  Some of the columns are reinforced with steel bars and other reinforcements.

This is the side view of the Coliseum and the Arch of Constantine.

Thank you for all of your prayers and support!

We love you all!  Larry and Lynne
