THE BAPTISM OF JESSENIA SCATTOLON

Jessenia is one of the young adults that comes to the Center.  She is 21 years old and very sweet!  We thought at first she was a member of the Church.  Then one day she told us with tears in her eyes......she was planning on being baptized on March 3, 2012!!!  She had a wonderful baptism!  There were about 70 people who attended.  Jessenia asked Larry and I to speak at her baptism about the Holy Ghost. 

On Sunday, March 4, 2012 we traveled to Ladispoli where Jessenia lives and we attended her ward.  She asked Larry to do the Confirmation.   We had a beautiful day!

We were very surprised to see how many young adults showed up to support Jessenia at her baptism!

This is Diana and Jessenia.  Diana has been called to the Salt Lake City, Utah, Temple Square Mission.  She leaves this month!  We are so thankful to be a part of this Gospel!

    What a wonderful event!! We are so happy to hear about and see people who are finding the truth and happiness the gospel has to offer! It's great you two got to participate so much with it, congratulations Jessenia!

    I'm really happy to see how she's progressed! She's actually one of my best friend's cousins and we had introduced the church to her when she came to visit Utah back in 2009. We took her to a lot of singles ward activities and also gave her an Italian Book of Mormon. I always knew she was special from the beginning!
